On Saturday I met my niece, Makayla.
I was at the hospital for five hours.
She slept for four of them.
I photographed her with my iphone and my Nikon...
and even shot a couple of videos.
I sent the video to my daughter...
And she said I'd almost woke her up.
Hmph...I was trying to.
Today she'll meet my parents
This is only their second grandchild.
Their first grandchild, my daughter, will be 30 in a couple of months.
Do you think we'll all spoil Makayla?
No doubt!!!

my slideshow project...
i'm taking a digital imaging class at the local college this semester. we had to write a paper a couple of weeks ago about our photographic style...and then do a slideshow in lightroom with photos depicting that style.
my 'style' was a shallow depth of field. it just so happens that i use this style a lot when i shoot flowers.
the accompanying music - flower (piano version) - by keiko matsui.
our next project is a website of these same photos...and we will print our five best from the group.
