greek salad...

this has become my go-to meal...
for breakfast.
i make them almost every day...
and take it to the office.

the tomatoes...
i picked in my garden...
today.

i still have tomatoes...
and peppers.

i think when the ones on the vine ripen...
i will pick them all...
and pull up the plants.

i mean...
its december already...
and these things are still getting flowers!

my first one!
finally!

i planted these from seeds...
and this is my first pepper.

they didn't start forming until october...
and i'm hoping they'll continue to grow.
it's beginning to get cold at night...
so i'll probably pick them all on december 1.

brussel sprouts...

friend or foe?
most people i know...
don't like them.

i don't want them all soggy...
and mushy...
and boiled to death.

but...
cut in half...
drizzled with olive oil...
and roasted...
until they're crispy and caramelized on the outside...
and soft on the inside.

they are delicious!

pomegranate heart...

i received three pomegranates in my csa.
this is only the fruit from one-half of one of them.

immediately after this photo was taken...
i got out a teaspoon...
and ate every one of them.
