finally...

i planted a mixture of sunflower seeds a couple of months ago.
the stalks are SUPER tall...
and i've been waiting on the flowers to bloom it seems like forever!

well...
finally...
one of the flowers is opening today.

the flower in this photo was planted from seeds from last year's flowers.

the different varieties i planted range in height from 6 inches to 4 feet.
